Crèdit Andorrà is recognized as Andorra’s Bank of the Year by the Financial Times group.

Xavier Cornella, CEO of Grup Crèdit Andorrà, emphasized that “this award places us among the best entities in the sector on an international scale” Crèdit Andorrà has been recognized as Andorra’s Bank of the Year by ‘The Banker’, the reference publication of the international financial sector belonging to the Financial Times group. This recognition is in addition to what the entity already obtained at the beginning of November, when the magazines ‘The Banker’ and ‘Professional Wealth Management’ (PWM), from the same publishing group, named it the Best Private Bank in Andorra 2022.

‘The Banker’ annually awards the best entities in the international financial sector, on the basis of “good business development, innovation, added value to the client and leadership in society”, as explained by the organization of the awards, adding that receiving the award is testimony to “the solidity of the management carried out, the strength of the business model and the prudent risk management policy”.

Xavier Cornella, CEO of Grup Crèdit Andorrà, emphasized that “this award places us among the best entities in the sector on an international scale, and is a new and well-deserved recognition of the effort and commitment of our group’s professionals to consolidate the bank as the sector leader in the square”. Cornella remarked that “this award pushes us to continue working to offer the best service to our customers every day, and to contribute to the development of our shareholders, customers, employees and the country as a whole”.

The recognition highlights the bank’s growth strategy through the formalization of corporate operations, support for the country’s progress through strategic alliances, and the promotion of digital transformation, entrepreneurship and specialization in products and services as ways to improve service and added value to the customer.

In this sense, ‘The Banker’ has evaluated the actions carried out by the bank, such as the integration of Vall Banc into Crèdit Andorrà and the acquisition of the family office business of GBS Finance in Spain, main operations to boost growth. At the national level, participation in the constitution of SETAP 365 has been taken into account with the aim of promoting the unification of the snow sector in favor of Andorra’s competitiveness and progress.

Another outstanding factor, in the insurance sector, is the expansion of the agreement with Caser Seguros for non-life insurance, a strategic alliance to increase added value to the customer.
