Electricity consumption in October is down 6.2% compared to last year.

In the global calculation, FEDA customers have saved 4.4% of light compared to October 2021 In the month of October 2022, the total energy consumption in the country was 39,852 MWh, a figure that represents -6.2% compared to the same month last year. Regarding the import of energy, the October data, with 33,825 MWh, show a decrease of -9.6% compared to the same month in 2021. On the other hand, the energy produced in Andorra shows a positive year-on-year variation of 18.5%.

Energy consumption in Andorra during the month of October 2022 was 39,852 MWh (megawatt hours), -6.2% compared to the same month last year. In addition, there was a cumulative consumption of 453,540.6 MWh from January to October and of 567,768.6 MWh accumulated during the last 12 months, data that represent variations of +8.0% and +9.5% compared to same periods of the previous year, respectively.

As for the data expressed in tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE), total consumption in October was 14,985.0 TOE. From January to October the accumulated consumption has been 159,835.6 TEP and in the last 12 months 200,912.9 TEP.

Regarding the consumption of FEDA customers, the global consumption for the month of October 2022 amounts to 25,823.5 MWh, a variation of -4.4% compared to the same month last year. Regarding the accumulated data, consumption has been 299,377.3 MWh since January and 372,861.4 MWh during the last 12 months, figures that represent variations of +7.0% and +8.9%, respectively.
